Was it because he didn't pay his mess bill, or are they just practising for operations??

Waterboarding is a form of torture. Highly frowned upon. The military, everywhere, has come under very close scrutiny for the hazing that has been going on. Especially in the assorted regular officer training institutes.

If they were playing waterboarding games, they'll be practising for civvy street Gil! After the investigation by another form of ModPlod, it'll be deemed to be NOT waterboarding at all, but playful jolly japes among the chaps!!!!! Like the RE Captain who was locked in the toilet cubicle by his squad after a '.....few beers'

Again, another piece of internal affairs that does not need to hit the publics ears until RMP/SIB have finished their enquiries, and charged the offenders and/or casheered them out of the Army.
All it does is undermines the integrity of the tremendous service soldiers give their country..............when balanced by someone deciding to release it at such an early stage in MOD PR, or is it just an over zealous reporter listening to stories when there is little else on his plate??

A lot of this stuff is usually, genuinely high jinks, a few beers and words of advice given - followed by 5 'extras'!

The old saying was, 'don't air your dirty laundry in public'. Apparently, someone on high (or low) hasn't heard it.
