Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Bought a Winchester bayonet with British icon

scabbard 6 yrs. ago and paid 100 bucks plus shipping. Winchesters are hard to find, so maybe you should buy it. Just my opinion

Believe it or not, SOG actually had some for sale a couple of weeks ago for 100 bucks, lucky me, no cash available and they disappeared withing two days

I had three correct bayonets and scabbards I sold last year - two were as nice as you could wish for. I must have hit a slump, because I had to sell them for far less than what I thought they were worth!
