    Thought everyone would like to see what fakes are going for these days.
    I stopped bidding at $50..even fake it was sufficiently "fun" to warrant 50 bucks. Oh well!

    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.     I might have gone higher even knowing how poor it was. That would look neat on a school carbine...

    It’s still tempting. Wouldn’t be cheap or easy to build one.
    Busted bayonet would be $50, Bowie blade of good quality would be $50, then there’s the welding and finish work.
