Hello, I could use some info please

    Hello,
I found this forum as I was looking for info on a rifle I just bought (actually on layaway) at a local pawn shop. The rifle is a Parker-Hale, there was no model that I could find but I believe it might be a 1200C as it has a detachable box magazine. it is chambered in 7mm Mag and the serial number is MAG-54002. it has nicely checkered walnut stock with rosewood butt cap and foreend cap. It also has a hooded front sight that I did not see on any of the ones I found online. I have never own a Parker-Hale rifle but my cousin has one that my uncle used to hunt with and I have shot his a few times and was impressed with the fit, finish and accuracy. So- when I saw this one and saw that the condition was excellent and the price was good I decided to grab it. Any information that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much, Ed.

Actually I was hoping to find out when it was made and maybe what it is worth. I probably should have been more specific. I f you are confirming that it is a 1200 C then thank you. That seemed to be the only one with a detachable box magazine, but it also seems like the Magnum versions might have a different name/ model number than the others. I can't really find much info but I also don't have great computer skills!
