This should be a good read, about the dirty tricks the unionists did against the war effort from pinching valves from radios, rations etc to dropping new aircraft from the cranes wrecking them.
It is a controversial book but at one point soldiers attached their bayonets to their 303's and ousted the striking picket line of wharfies then loaded the ship in 1/4 of the time it took the wharfies.

They should have been shot for treason putting our soldiers lives at risk
