Can you help identify bolt? Maybe Jap

So I acquired a Arisakaicon Type 38 from an estate and included was a bolt in a pillow case. It seems to have a Jap stamp on the rear of the bolt as well as a (SD) stamp at the base of the bolt.

Is this something one can put to a rifle?

    Don't think that's Japaneseicon...I think it's a Carcano rifle bolt. https://www.libertytreecollectors.co...?idproduct=718

    And a K 98 safety...

There was the so-called Type "I" rifle purchased by Japan. Basically a Carcano rifle with Mauser type magazine in 6.5 Japaneseicon service caliber. Don't know about bolt handle configurations.

That is a carcano bolt. Type I bolts were straight.
