    Thx RC,
I have 2 S'G' but both have unmarked type II safeties.
Thought I had some pictures tucked away, but can't get past Photobucket's bombing raid to access my files at this time.
George currently has one on GB but even though it has the same letters, they're so far off compared to this one it's not worth the time to post it.

Is it the G that stands out the most ?
Along with the angles of the Prime marks ' ' ?

My 1.8M S'G' has an unmarked Type 2. I can recall others thinking they needed to find an E-S'G' to make their's correct. I'm sticking with the pitted one mine came with - the mag catch, too. - Bob

PS. Hope Charlie doesn't mind me adding one of his pictures.

    US BOB GI,
Is that mine ? Last one ?
I didn't want to pull em out because they're buried in the back of safe #2 in the SG-S'G' section all with a smoothly slathered coat of grease on them.
Also why I didn't pull the Rock Ola's out, they are also in the back of #2 packed with grease.
Guess I'm still worn out from having my Mothers Estate sale.........

Checkout this crate I picked up from GB. I'll store something in it that I'll soon forget about.
Then be tearing a room or two apart looking for what ever I stored in it.

Is that how it is........... getting old like you and Bruce ?

Well Bob it looks like we are being picked on by the Hot Air from Michigan again. He remembers we are a bit older then he is and he had best learn not to pick on his elders!!!!

Yep, the one with the S-T-B style grease job is yours. Just noticed your TH has the circular style cut, and the alignment hole at the back is shallower. You'd better go pull it out to make sure! I like the new ammo box. Now you need to find a couple of unopened LC-52 spam cans with the same lot number. - Bob

That's a really nice crate, there's something about old ammo crates.
Any idea of the date? Would a photo of the top be possible?
    Thanks,
    Charlie
