Savage 12 VSS

I picked up a Savage 12 VSS in .223 Remington match. When I took it to the range it shoot 3/4" groups w/10X at 50 yards and 1.75" at 100 yards with several keyholes. I knew the problem at once and checked the crown, sure enough it was burred. I know the gun should shoot .5" at 100 yards w/o any big problems. I have corrected the problems since and can't wait to shoot it again, but, has anyone else had this issue?
