I thought it said "Rear to Label" meaning that is the part of the tripod you set your butt on to stabilize. :-) jk

It’s a late Mk1* and has no AA parts what’s so ever, the head isn’t even machined for the leg or rifle.

On another site a Bren Tripod just went for around $500. I've seen them for sale between $500 and $750 and the ones not selling for $1,000 or more.

    LOL Added MORE!

Well, Happy to say I'm still kicking around and about. To update this thread 2023, 5 years later. I've added to the group. LOL Seems I don't buy complete tripods as much as I buy "problem" "needs a LOT of LOVING" Bren Tripods. Then TRY? to restore them.
I've added about 8 more since this post. Everything from a ZB style tripod and several stripped Mk1's and a pair of stripped (now somewhat restored) Mk2*s. I've posted pics of the Mk2*s in another of my threads.
My next plans for them is to use some of them in an exbit at a gun show in August, my area in Fla. Then for the fun of it I might use them at my next gun shoot that I host, Nov, 2023.
Such fun, to try to get Bren tripod parts on this side of the pond. Yes, BRP, Sarco, Numrich, and Apex and my pocket book are Good Friends. Anyone with another source that they are willing to share in the US PLEASE give it a post.

Pics in this thread seem displaced at this time. I'll see what I can find and also take some new ones when I get a chance.
