    Gentlemen!

    Not great news.
It’s 1,000 rounds of wood tipped Israeli 7.62 Nato.
And it’s not in wonderful condition - I’ll post some pictures tomorrow.

So let’s see, this tin would hold 50 boxes of 20. I’d have to sell all of them at $6.54 each to break even. I doubt that’ll happen because of the condition...but now we know! Haha

    Bad Timing,
You just missed Halloween... You could have sold them off as 'Vampire Killers'.
    Wood tips solid ?
    Safe range 30-40' ?
    Possible to pull and reload?

    Been fun!

Well from what I read they are non-corrosive and reloadable.
Maybe I’ll go through and pick out the cleanest ones and sell it that way.

Not exactly the outcome I was hoping for but, meh, I’ve lost more on sillier things haha.

    Thanks for following along, everyone!

So, now you can do an exhaustive test of the wonderful destructive penetration characteristics of the devastating wooden bullets. The bullets that if you get wounded there's no saving you... The accurate and super ammo... Maybe even a video...?
    Regards, Jim

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is/was the purpose of the round?

There are a number of different uses for wood bullets. One, to use them as blanks. Two, to use them for launching grenades. (Japanicon and Italyicon did.) and three to teach people how to shoot using short ranges for instruction.
