    Online Auction - Mystery Ammo?

Firstly, I'm not gonna post the link. Someone here may be bidding and I don't want to mess with their business.
...and maybe I'll want to bid after this discussion too

So here it is. Unknown caliber, unknown amount, and only the attached picture.
The kicker? It's up to $180!! So someone must know what it is.

    Any ideas?

The clue may lie in the labelling. Unfortunately I can't read anything. Maybe your copy of the image is more legible? Why not ask the seller?

Like Patrick says, what it is may be on the label. Otherwise, it's a $180 box. Auctions never cease to amaze. People get wound up in 'em.

You got that right. I’m at one right now. Every single gun has sold for $50 more than it’s worth. Regular old 22s and no-name double barrels.

Clever wording and those not wanting to miss a bargain always get caught up in a bidding war with the result the price gets inflated to well beyond the true market value of course the sales pitch is geared that each article came of Noahs ark, will never be produced again so is as rare as rocking horse doo doo. I now set a limit and have a small amount of wiggle room however if its a piece that I feel fits into a section of my collection I am trying to complete like a set of books then I tend to get a bit heavy handed on the mouse with the resultant broadside from the MFF&W.

I go to obscure sites or obscure descriptors as some sellers get the thing wrong and you can stumble across real bargains they are out there.....

Hi Cinders! I was pleased to see that you have adopted the very useful PWF acronym in another post, perhaps you could expand MFF&W for my enlightenment. Manager For Food & Welfare, perhaps?

No word yet from the auctioneer.
I suspect it's what we've already said here - a couple guys getting all worked up over the mystery.
