    Webley 455 Revolver Serial Numbers

When I have been looking for serial Number range for the 455
I read the kowest known highest kown,
Who holds these recorsd, is it just what others have seen?

I Have a Webley 455 MK IV serial No 77082. All matching.
The records I keep reading in diffrent places indicate that the
Lowest known serial number for a MK VI is 77503
which means mine is 421 before the lowest known.

I would think that there marks out there that are older or younger than
    the known and recorded ones.
So who is making up these lists?

    Hi read6737,

Slightly confused......you have a Webley 455 MKIV serial number 77082 all matching, you then talk about the MKVI and the difference between your number of 421 and that.
Which one have you got, sounds like the MKIV.
Here is a short video on strip down for it if it helps:

If you go to the middle of this attachment you will see the dates the IV was produced. Between 1932 and 1963 over 500,000 were produced FYI
