BSA Shirley No 4 MK 1 Sniper sold at auction is it real ?

Looking for your insight ? There was a auction today at Poulins Auction house in Fairfield Maine , U.S.iconA , of a BSA Shirlry No. 4 Enfield Mk.1 sniper . It sold for $2700.00 plus their buyers premium. The lot number is 2322 . Is it the real deal ? Lot 2323 was a second one with a reproduction scope and mount Thanks for your help .

No idea how we are meant to find this, I looked it up and found nothing. Could you post a link or something perhaps?

Is the one with the original scope and mount a good buy for the auction sell price of $2700.00 , or did the byer over pay for it ?
