    Tigers in Combat III

Have been reading this on and off for the last 5 weeks it is the last in the series by Schneider and deals pretty much with everything the Tiger crews were taught about their tank and the maintenance of it.

Its packed full of technical data and developmental information also goes through the specific training each crew member had and the skills they had to acquire to pass selection.
I enjoyed it immensely the section of the selection of the main armament also training of the gunner was very interesting the hits they had to produce to get passed.

Whilst it is a big book fairly thick as well I am pretty happy with whats inside as I have Vols I & II to compliment this one along with allot of others on this tank & commanders.
You can have your kindle or sticks as far as I am concerned nothing beats the feel of paper and the weight of a good book a warm fire with a Gentleman Jack Daniels & ice...........

I talked a friend of mine into translating he Germanicon manual "The Tiger Primer" ino English and printing it.
A basic interesting book on this subject.
The TigerFibel - WW2 German Army Issue
    German Reenacting Manuals

42 grab a copy of "Sledgehammers" By Wilbeck discusses the flaws and weaknesses of the Tiger and they way they were deployed in some instances beggars belief to use them to clear an anti personnel minefield on the Eastern front with the resultant running gear damage causing the temporary loss of AFV's that could have supported the infantry bizarre but its all there its a good read.
