I recall reading somewhere (Rock-ola??Standard Products??) that the manufacturer was asking the Army if they could use white lead to seal the gas cylinders. Sounds like a good idea but where would anyone find white or red lead today?

I thought they (white & red lead) were mainly used in paints before the lead ban on paint?
