    Please help identify a 2.5 inch rifle launcher cup part 3

    This 2.5 inch bore diameter launcher cup seems normal but the method of attachment is different. The normal claw mount is missing and a rectangular lug threaded plug is inserted in its place. External AFV smoke projector? A normal cup and claw mount is shown for comparison on the right side.

    External tank grenade or bomb thrower. We gave several of these away that had been used as trials for throwing gas grenades
