John, Good to speak the other day, as Our conversation was cut short, I was going to say If it was me I'd get a Uberti / Pietta 1851 Navy etc, to plink with........... a BP variation of a FAC doesn't take long........ as you have the original its another start to a collection, then its an open door to Section 7.1.....

The link below to the Westlake conversion of the .357 LBR I mentioned, I run this on Unique now instead of Herco, in fact my LBR runs on it and all my downloads run on it........ after looking for info on your London Colt I found a few youtube clips on folk making paper cartridges ........... very interesting as I may knock a few few up to try, normally I use glass vials which carry each charge for my Ruger Old Army ........

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Morning Geoff,

Sorry about the call being cut short, work keeps getting in the way of my social life and my clients don't seem to share my enthusiasm for classic milsurps!

The Taurus is very smart indeed, its a very tempting road to go down mate!

I've been fortunate enough to shoot original Colt Navy, Army and Dragoon revolvers in the past, plus, what most would regard as the best revolver of the day, the superb New Model Army.

I've owned a Whitney in the past, but never shot one.....

Cant remember if I ever uploaded pics here before, but I did photograph it for Daniel Williams Whitney book, I think the images were too late for inclusion in the end, but here she is. Sold to pay for building work unfortunately....

While we are on the subject ... Here's a particular regret of mine, this was my lovely original NMA, she also went to pay for the same building work..... One of those pieces that I wish I had sold a kidney instead of selling her!

You know it guys, we all have at least one piece we deeply regret selling

If we kept everything John, we would need another house or houses and be penniless and single, but what a life......
