A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Great gun, but photos not helped by the distracting background. Couldn't you have laid it on the floor with the plain carpet?

Yes your right Bob,sorry, I didn't really expect it to work. These were just pictures I took really fast just to test if I could upload them or not. Next time I will put a lot more thought into the pictures I post. I'm just tickled it worked

thanks,I know its not a desirable ww2 rifle, but that's kind of what I love about it. I shoot it sparingly because it's condition is great. I haven't measured the TE or the muzzle but I would expect the wear to be minimal due to the rifling in the bore is excellent.

Thanks Jim, I have owned it for many years and even though shot sparingly, over the years have mounted to hundreds of rounds and I have never had a failure of any kind with it. She runs like an absolute clock
