    No Dukes today

Went for our Saturday ride today was a fine day indeed it was decided to give our Honda's a run as since I have had the Ducati's my Super Blackbird 1100XX has sat covered up idle and languishing.
I gave it an oil & filter change the other day and promptly covered it back up and my wifes 500 has sat there as well, we have just met a nice South African couple whom share our passion for safe riding and have had 2 runs together.

Covered 212klm's at a liesurely pace taking in some very nice country having brunch in Margret River I had salt/peppered squid with asian salad yummo!
So in the main pic L-R My Blackbird, wifes 500 LAMS, Natasha's 650 Suzuki LAMS she is on her "L"s which restricts her to 100kph tops and Franz's Katana.

Franz is only missing 1 particular "Katana" he has every other model of the Katana Suzuki produced he rode this one today and although it is a Katana (It is original) it is not what it seems.

So see if you eagle eyed rice burner buffs can pic what is the bike! Had me fooled till we stopped and I had a good look at it......

The single front disc twigged me to it being a smaller Jap market.
I used to have a Honda CB400 RR Jap import when I worked in the UAE. It was so much fun; used it for a track day at Dubai Autodrome. That thing red-lined at 14500 RPM.

Same redline as my V4 S Ducati 303, I've gone to 13,000RPM on it and its a death grip on the bars I can tell you as the bike just wants to tear away from under you I will get the guts to red line in 2-3-4th soon as we have a run on the 8th Dec out into the wheatbelt with long open roads.
Apparently the new 2019 R series Ducati redlines at 16,000RPM but it is 12Nm down on torque from my 2018 V4 model
