I too frequent them and have done business, one needs to be ready to pay premium as they mark huge and sit until it sells. Sets a precedent that way...

I will be honest, I have no clue why the Pedersen devices command such a premium. When you read the actual documents on them at the archives, they were just basically a failed design that had no real purpose.

I could see them having a little premium since they are rare, but I just don't see the large price tag on them. There are so many more interesting variations, that were a success, that don't command anything near what they do. Even Sniper rifles, which some are just as rare as those Pedersen Device, don't command those premiums.

I used to think they were neat, but then I read the docs on them, and I was like seriously these were a major flop. lol

I'm with ya, brother. That's why I didn't bid on the device itself in the same auction, haha.
FYI to all following along, the magazine should be here tomorrow night...along with all the other neat goodies I bought!

I got a bunch in tonight too. A couple questions throughout the lot.
I’ll make a new thread tomorrow for a little show and tell with everything. It’s like Christmas for me, I tell ya. Sell a few things and the stuff I want is all the sudden free!

I’ll be setting up at a gun show in Pacific, MO, this coming weekend if anyone would like to, ahem, look at any of it in person and have a chat!

Thought we'd get some information on these things for future searchers!

Considering the made tens of thousands of magazines and only have a dozen or two of the devices intact, the mag is probably a $100-150 dollar part. Put it on ebay or gunbroker and report back with results.

I owned a semi-auto BAR. When they magazine ban hit from 1994-2004 I saw BAR mags going for up to $250 bucks from various dreamers. Considering there were hundreds of thousands of mags available and probably 1,500 guns in circulation. A decent mag was typically about $20-25 bucks.

I don't really want to boast (and jinx my good fortune) but I will say this:
I have sold the magazine. Your price is many, many times lower than I got out of it.
Based on my experience, I'd buy every single magazine I could find at $150...or $300...or $600...or....
