    Yeah, Promo is probably right. The Australianicon currency conversion to UKicon pounds is pretty much the average here for a nice example. One of the L42’s converted from a Longbranch 4T recently sold for £18,000, and it wasn’t a pretty gun.

    My interpretation is "A specialist collector with excellent knowledge on certain products origins and types that collects them" I.E L42's in this instance....

    OK, thanks. In the USAicon we have a roughly similar term but spell it differently.

    I have read an article published in 2000 about the 12 Australianicon Army trials L42A1 rifles.
    Apparently most were not put through the trials process at all with 9 of the 12 rifles that were in storage at Randwick in the early 90's being unfired.
    There could not be many L42A1's in this condition around.

    I would sell you an actual C3/M82 for merely half that price, plus shipping and applicable taxes/fees of course.
