I found shooting them with their iron was far better than trying to make them into something they aren't. I have things that are designed to be shot with glass and perform far better.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I would have to agree Jim, they shoot much better on irons unless you invasively fit the scope.

Plenty of other bang sticks about for that ... Shoot them like our fathers and grandfathers did and enjoy....

I did that recently by deleting all the poor shooters that I have because they're bad for morale and took on a shooter that really works...then you can employ your scope.

    Just took it off...
I prepared 50 cases, tomorrow I’ll load them and on the 1st or 2nd I’ll take out the No.4 and the K31icon with the diopter.
I’m looking forward to a great start into 2019.
