    Bren Gun, removing barrel nut plunger ?

    How do you remove the Plunger retainer and it's spring for barrel nut on the Bren gun ?

    If I remember correctly, push back the lever plunger and then push up on the Mag well dust cover plunger. Careful it’s under spring pressure.

    Push the horizontal part back until the verticle part launches itself off to no mans land

    Question when I push the horizontal pin as far back as it will go the mag. ball detent for the dust cover still will not raise up ? Is there something I am missing in the way I am doing it ?

    OK, I got it to pop up and out ,it needed a push up from the bottom more than I though . I see how the mag.cover
    detent is made with a off set cut that needs to be in the right position to allow it to move up and out. Thank you all for the much needed help .
