    Chinese 1907

Grabbed this Chinese M1907 at the fun show today. Don't see a whole lot of 1907s these days, and this one is in pretty good shape. Actually really good shape compared to most.
Double diamond (Gong Xian arsenal I believe) and a 23-10 date which, if my research is correct, is 1934.
No prefix before the serial on the receiver, but instead a small symbol. Will have to try to find out what that is.
A Chinese character on the right of the butt, matching serial on left.
Bore is worn, but serviceable, no pitting on the rifle that I can find.
Sling is a PPSH(?) sling or style of sling? No markings that I can find.
How do ya like that hole at the forestock?
    Interesting Mauser!
