VERY Strange Yugo M57 Tokarev pistol I just acquired -see link to pictures

My 1st post here. The frame was not modified, it was made with the arch in it, has a serrated trigger guard, modified trigger and hammer and a big beavertail. Any guess as to who this was made for? Has the Yugoicon crest and #'s match. So strange, I couldn't pass it up.

That one might actually be shootable. Too bad they didn't come up with special grip scales too...

Hi Karmuba! What a neat job on that M-57. Congrats to the artist and to you for having such a unique piece. For the moment..the market seems to be well stocked with surplus Yugoicon M-57's, but not like that one.

Where did you ever come across it, and how does it shoot?

Thanks, I got it a the Oaks Pa gunshow, and the dealer said he bought it from a distributor who told him about it on the phone. He wasn't giving up any sources. I haven't fired it, but it has trigger work done to it for sure.

After looking at your pistol yesterday, I was playing around with my own Yugoicon M-57 (trying to imagine what it would take to duplicate yours...)

With all the quality frame and other work that's been done to that gun, I think your really going to like it. M-57's shoot really well. Of course I do have a bias towards the design and that fierce little 7.62 x 25 round.

Oh, I forgot to include if anyone wants a "similar' grip there's always this. I hear they work quite well.

the frame on your gun is to big for that grip.
