Yugoslavian M24 Pre-War

Just recently won an auction for a Yugoslavian M24 produced between 1931-42, paid $220, I'm attaching a link with pictures and a description.

All in all how did I do?

If it is an actual M24 you did extremely well. If it's an M24/47 you still did pretty well.

im not the expert, but aren't the 24 all supposed to have the wood plug in the butt stock to hide the fact they removed the swivel stud from the side? All "genuine" 24/47 are supposed to have it

Only carbines had the side swivel and original 24's would retain it but not all 24's had it. I studied the crest a bit more, it's fuzzy but does appear to be the original M24 crest. These are uncommon, you did extremely well.

So if someone ends up with a 24/47 that has the wood plug in the butt stock, they might have something unique even if it has the correct 24/47 receiver markings on it?

No, nothing unique about a 24/47 with a wood plug. These are all reworked rifles.
