    Spanish helmet badges

I recently acquired a Spanish M43 helmet and would like to get the correct badge for it for the WWII time period.

Most images I have seen are of an eagle with crown, open claws and a red cross in the center. I have also come across this emblem which is said to be the Franco Fascist symbol. Could be Italianicon and miss identified so I don't want to get one without knowing for sure.

It is a Spanish badge. Same as on the flag from 1938 to 1981. I don't understand why an eagle with a crown would be used under Franco. But that seems to be the most common emblem shown in photos.
