There was an attempt to have the standard defined by the British icon

National Metrology Institute. But the motion was defeated due to heated debate, yet no determination as to which is the actually the smallest quantum, gnat's knacker or coontair.

Got the repro screws from Scott at Evans Custom Screws. Here are some photos of the new screws on the left in the photo next to an original screw on the right. They work well. If anyone else in the US needs these screws then you can contact Scott: sstonehill@knology.net
