    FYI M1 Carbine forum.

It seems that the M1icon Carbine Forum in now gone for good. The company that ran the server finally decided to pull the plug. I never got an answer from them as to how to save it.

Well, I'm out of a moderators job! *LOL* I guess that's ok. Never really had much to do on that site. Everyone behaved themselves very well. Hope to see most, if not all of them here.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

You have to be invited to moderate, you don't just set up shop...

I remember being "over there" when it was BattleRifles.com around 2003. I had help from a lot of guys - one even sent me his headspace gauges so I could check an S'G' I had just bought - all free of charge, just "send 'em back when you're done with 'em." I remember that site going through a number of name changes, I think during one of them, it was under "America's Backyard" or something similar. Checked there a few months ago and could still find all my old posts, etc. Jimb was always helpful to me there, too. Also, I think Inland44 was over there for awhile and gave me some good advice. - Bob

I've been a member here for a long time too. If they want me, all they need to do is ask.

I will miss that forum, it was one of my 'daily stops'. A lot of good info and pretty good moderators too.

Absolutely true. The M1icon Carbine Forum was my Go To place when I first got my Underwood M1 carbine from the CMPicon. Almost everything I know about it was learned from the great people at that site.

Now I'll just have to come here!
