Looking for opinions on a No4 Mk1 Bayonet

Looks like it was used for digging, which is why the wear on the point.

He who waits loses. The bayonet has been used probably digging or looking for mines. That is what else they were used for. If you had a mint brand new one I would walk away they don't exist. The flutes on that one are not new on an old bayonet just look at the edges it has been used for things other than sticking meat. I have the kit for one of those for mine searching and digging holes.

I dont know Bindi mine whilst it has been out and about probably lamented most of its life out of the lime light it hardly has any wear marks on the socket from fitting up to the rifle nor does the point show any signs of being used as a prodder so its not brand new but its about as good as you'll get.

Sad, I never took pics of mine at all, was as close to new as could be. It went with the rifle and all the different bayonets at the time of deal. Whole thing probably went for about $600 CDN. That WAS about twenty years back though.
