    Rawson target sights and parts....

I have the gallows arm for a Rawson sight on the way with an aperture. Where might i find a mounting base for a No 1 Mk III and the screw to mount the arm to the base?

I've done a lot of looking and have turned up brackets from other manufacturers, but mainly for No 4 rifles.

Is this going to be as hard to find as I suspect?

    Thanks.

It showed up in the mail yesterday. Looks pretty nice, the P-H eyepiece has a yellow glass filter in it. Anyone know the model number of the eyepiece?

I'll probably ask Scott Stonehill to make me up some screws to replace the scale plate screws with the buggered slots and the improvised washers. I wonder what thread type the screws are?

Still not sure why the forum software keeps rotating my pictures.

So far I have completely disassembled this sight, cleaned all the bits, lost one detent ball (replacements are inbound anyway) and have mostly reassembled everything. I'm down to the screws now. They are all buggered in the slots and for the life of me, I have not yet figured out the thread size and type.

They all appear to be the same size and pitch, but different length.

I know the OD, but even with a thread pitch gauge and a magnifying glass, I'm thus far unable to figure out how many TPI they are.

Anyone know what size they are so I can buy some or have Scott Stonehill make me some?

    Thanks.

As an update, it seems all the screws in this sight are 8BA, the same size as the elevation plate on my PH5E.

Base and mounting screws located. All bearing balls replaced and having Scott Stonehill make me some replacement screws.
