    Lodewick low-scope safety?

Anyone run into the safety made by Walter Lodewick of Portland Oregon? I am wondering about fit, finish, and durability.

I am thinking about a scope safety for my 1903a3.

Here is the link to the NOS safety:

I always thought that those looked kind of chintzy compared to the units made by Maynard Buehler. I've had both side by side and in my opinion, the Buehler models are finished much nicer. They appear to be machined vs. the Mark II's that appear cast. Having read both sets of installation instructions at one point and time, installing a Mark II safety requires modification of the bolt sleeve, if my memory is correct, the Buehler does not.

Apparently the entire side-swing safety block of a Win Model 70 will screw straight into a Springfield bolt body. Haven't tried it, YMMV.
