    This little gem just popped up at auction. Proof that some Savage Mk I* did get paired up. Unfortunately, its matching scope and rifle are not with her...

    Hi Lance. I'm glad someone else thinks so too. I've always banged on that SOME of the Savage Mk1* rifles were scoped up. Out of the batch of 140 rifles we bought 22 years ago there was a total of about 7 Savage T's, of which (IIRC) three had borne Mk1 scopes. I still have one of them.

    What are the rifle and scope serial numbers on the case? I have rifle OC3695 with MK 1 Scope 7615. I am curious to see how close the serial number is to my rifle.
