A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. EDIT: You're in AUS, shipping the entire forend would be $$$$$$$$.
Don't you know someone near you that owns a lathe and that who could, perhaps, make the screw and nut?

He won't have the BA taps and dies, none of the septics do.

Scott can make them. Both the bolt and the nut.

Any chance I could get you to send/sell me one? Then I'd just need to hunt down the nut or have that made.

If making them as a set, thread form is immaterial as long as screw and nut mate. Can't see the threads once installed, after all.

E-mailed Scott. $28 with shipping for a new screw and nut. Oof.

If one of the guys here would sell me one of their screws that'd be great.
