    Brazilian 1911 slide

    Picked this Brazilianicon 1911 slide up today, thought it might make a good build. Left side is marked 'FABRICA DE ITAJUBA-BRASIL', right is marked 'EXCERCITO BRASILEIRO' with Brazilian crest. How interchangeable would this be with other 1911 parts, and how old would it be?

    It should be a straight swap and i believe manufactured in Brazilicon from the 1930s thru 1990s.

    Current commercial "Springfield Armoury inc." 1911s are/were rebadged Itajuba pistols.

    Purchased Colt 1911 and 1911a1s from the early 1920's. Set up licenced/unlicenced production possibly as early as 1927ish.
