A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... I can't find anybody willing to pay any more for it than that. Even one of Jim's buddies who I believe helped with that award winning display up in WA would only buy one box at that price - said he would use in one of his displays. For some reason, the going price seems to be around $25 or $30. It's not like there's an endless supply of it, though - right? Still need to take a look at that M3 Utica link. I'm not seeing any Remington .30 Carbine in the stores here now. The last I bought was from Sportsman's Guide, some in 2017 for around $25.50 and in 2014 for around $22. I had the "club" membership then and it took a couple bucks off per box. Funny thing, on one of the purchases, they had their 500 round deal priced higher per box than buying single boxes, so I saved by buying a number of boxes individually - got free shipping that time, too! The shipping adds so much nowadays, that I usually buy some at the big Portland shows, but it's a long drive and costs $20 just to get parked and in the door. - Bob

It was in decent condition. It went for about the price that I would expect. It would have sold for more if it was an earlier blade marked.
