Those are Redfield inserts. Note that the tabs are of unequal size which is the give way. Lyman tabs are the same on both sides. On the Lyman sights the inserts can be mounted either way ;on the Redfield sights they go in only one way. I own and have used both globe slights. The Redfield 66 series are larger in diameter than the Lyman 17 series sightss

Cosine, what makes you think Redfield makes inserts?

Just spoke to my Lyman rep., and unless they have it backwards........ They make the inserts for Redfield.

They look like Redfield Globe Sigtt insert, but without measurements I cannot really say. During the 1960 only Redfield had the two size tabs. Evidently I am incorrect.

You might not be incorrect. My source was the marketing department at Lyman. Elevated car salesmen? LOL
