Correct buttplate screws for Ishapore 2A1?

Both of the 2A1 rifles I have have the chunky potmetal butt plates very different from the classic brass No.1 Mk3. The screws on the buttplate are philips heads on BOTH of them. One 1965 and one 1966. I cant imagine that these are correct? Can anyone provide details of the correct buttplate screws please?

Slightly domed slotted head, 0.9" overall length. The thread minor dia. is about 0.13", so pretty close to a standard #10 wood screw.

I just pulled one Charlie to see and it's a #8 x 1" oval head slotted. You may have to turn the diameter of the head down a bit to fit as it seems a bit smaller than the US made counterpart. I'd send you a couple but I don't have the right length.
