    M1 Carbine Underwood Mixmaster

Just wondering the value of my M1icon Carbine. I tried looking it up and I can't get a good estimate on it. Thank you!

    Receiver: Underwood 2628881 - with B code.

Stock: SJ with SJ marked handguard.

    Trigger housing: Rock-ola

Bolt: W with a punch on the top of the bolt.

    Hammer: U

    Slide: Circle PI

Barrel: flaming bomb with punch mark near gas tube underneath, and PW (I think) oval below sight. It's very small.

    Barrel band: W

    Rear sight: SA

    Oiler: IS

    Magazine: OI-SG

    No import mark.

Looks in nice condition. My guess would be around $800 +/-, could be up to $1K depending on condition and location.

In Tennessee most refurb M1icon carbines go fo about $800+-

This also makes it odd that most of the replicas by auto ordnance and Inland are generally more expensive than originals...

Replicas are problematic right out of the box! In my opinion some of the sorriest weapons on the market Khar, Auto Ord., Inland.

You have a typical rebuilt carbine. Your Underwood receiver was made by Singer Manufacturing for Underwood and was used by Underwood in the Winter of 1944. The stock is one from Standard Products. The barrel is Winchester. The rest is pretty much self explanatory. But where did you find a W on the barrel band?
