    J5 bolt {1918} that someone ground on to clear a scope. polished and drilled the gas hole over sized, A3 extractor and safety sleeve.

    Yes J5 bolt but I ma note sure if its 1918 year ... I think It may be 1920 or later

    Hi,thanks for the info,this going on JRA remington 1903a4,its polish because it was very stiff bolt,thanks for info

    shouldn't be stiff. remove the extractor and see how it does, might have weld slag in the inside of the action were the cut off was welded. 1903 bolt should be butter smooth in an A3
