Please help me identify this barrel

    https://imgur.com/a/b0P6Iqz

My father found this Ross barrel and receiver in a barn many years ago. It looks like the receiver was run over by something as it is pretty squished. It's 28" long and although the exterior is pitted, the bore looks to be in great shape. Hoping the experts here can shed some light on it for me. Thanks!

The photo is of the receiver, a Mk. II which was drilled and tapped for a rear bridge.
Probably safe to assume that the barrel is one for a Mk. II rifle.
Remove the lock screw and it should be possible to unscrew the barrel without a lot of force. Left hand thread.

It is indeed the remnants of a Mk II Ross. Someone has added those two studs on the barrel. Lord knows why.
