1.56 Mil Quality H M C Firing Pin

I have a 1.56 mil QHMC with a Q-EM bolt. It is suppose to have an R-O or Q-NL firing pin. I can't find R-O info anywhere. Is R-O the same as Rock-ola? Mine has a Rock-ola firing pin

I'm not familiar with any firing pin marked R-O.
I've seen RO-Q Recoil Plates.
The Riesch book shows QHMC used Type 1 firing pins marked NL-Q, N-Q, HS and BQ.
Type 3 marked NL-Q, and N-Q.
Taking in to account that QHMC only made their Receivers and yours being so early, I'd lean toward the Rock Ola firing pin as being very possibly original to your carbine.
Rock Ola supplied quite a few parts, stocks etc to QHMC.

I'll check Ruth's War Baby tomorrow.

In the mean time can you,
Show us your Carbine.....
Look at the back of your firing pin: Can you tell if it's a Type I, or III ?
And just curious where you heard about a R-O Firing Pin ?

Thanks for the help.
My firing pin is a type 1 blued Rock-ola.
I got the info on R-O from Carbine Club Newsletter 334.

The R-O firing pins were integrated to Quality from Rock-ola. It wasn't necessarily whole lot (2500) so only occasional sightings should be the norm.

Thanks for the info. I'm assuming in the CCNL I read where they said firing pin was stamped R-O was just an abbreviation for Rock-ola and stamped Rock-ola not an acctual R-O stamped on firing pin.
