    German WW2 7,92mm Identification

    I have some Germanicon WW2 7,92mm cartridges in a MG81 belt and I believe a BESA belt.

I would appreciate any help as to the kind of cartridges? a/p or tracer ? someone told
me that these might be tropical issue too.

'emp' is Dynamit A.-G., Werk Empelde, (formally Alfred Nobel & Co.), Empelde, Germanyicon.
Trace supposedly(there seemingly were several styles of bullet marking) had the red ring, but should have a yellow tip, I think. AP had a black ring with a black tip. Seems to vary a lot by when it was made.
I don't think 'tropical' was a consideration. Dunno for sure.
