A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Any chance of a run down of the components used, the work done and by whom?
You can't just leave it at that.
Are the other two gats in the pic genuine, or are they "homages" as well?

it started as a 1943 F No4 mk1 in great shape. I did not have to do any metal refinish. The wood I did myself. I stripped and boiled the stock and sanded, applied a light stain and 3 coats of boiled linseed oilicon. The scope kit came and cheek riser from Sarco. The mounting was done by a local gunsmith following Peters instructions I found posted here. The gunsmith said I got lucky because he did not have to remove any metal from the receiver or mounts it zeroed right up.

This is my 2nd no4 build, below is my first. Not a T repro but a nice 1948 F

The 03a4 and zf41 are both repros also- I'd be divorced for spending $ on originals and I like the restoration and building process
