They had reported before that this was a state investigation with ATF assistance into having non registered or now illegal semi-auto firearms like an AR-15. Sure is a lot of .22 rifles and not one semi-auto handgun. Some nice revolvers like single actions, a couple of Contenders and one Python. All of them appear to be in excellent condition. More like a personal collection then anything else.

Before reading the link, I was thinking, “ OK, some wealthy Cajun likes to buy guns!?” BIG DEAL. Then realized they are in Kalifornia. Those people freak out over everything. Hope the quake comes soon.

It is only 200 miles to the Nev border and then there's Idaho and Wyoming. I was on vacation one time from home, Calif. Happened to be in Twin Falls Idaho. At a gun shop I spotted a great SIG 45 for a ridiculous low price. I told the guy I was from Calif. he said "I don'tcare, you can have this gun in 15 minutes". It used to be like that in Calif until the communists came into power. Now, any firearm must be on an approved list issued by the Politburo before you can even buy it new. The Commissars are full of themselves too. They pass between 800-900 new laws every year, most everything being a felony so they can take away your firearms in the deal. Kamila Harris has a hit squad of Nazis that go around raiding homes of felons and disarming anyone who they feel shouldn't have guns. A P O'd person can call in a report that they are afraid someone is going to hurt themselves and that's all it takes. Guns gone and they are tossed into the trunk. You can bet all Lugers, Pythons, Officers Models and fine doubles are never found again.

I really don't know why the people of California have created a separate political system, but they seem so far left that I don't understand how they got there? California is a lovely state.

But as most of the rest of the U.S. use to quip, "Yeah, California, mostly FRUITS and NUTS". I truly feel sorry for Californians.

Were those the people they WANTED to be in charge of things? It is as if California should be come a separate country and all the leftist and liberals can move there to see how that little experiment is going to work out. I am happy California is on the OTHER side of the US...

Reminds me of local friend couple weeks after columbine. His kid took wrong 50 cent flea market back pack to school. Problem was it had a torch cut stem gun in it. Third grader goes to teacher and explains he got wrong back pack. Teacher looks in it and calls ATF. My friend was deputy reserseve and part time town Marshall. ATF comes to his house. Throws his entire gun collection including his legal class three stuff in pile on front drive in the rain. They threw hm in federal lockup and put a 250,000 bail bond in him for illegally making machine guns. He could not afford the bail bond so stayed in lockup for 3-4 weeks. NRA refused to help him. He decided with time served to plea bargain. He can no longer own a gun but was allowed to transfer all his guns to his wife’s name. No fees. He plea bargained simply as could not afford the 200,000 the bonds and attorneys required to fight. Is easy to see who was right and who was wrong when they let wife keep everything including the torch cut stem that started the mess. We do not have affordable justiice today to fight the elite antis. I have no idea what the California guy did legal or not legal but do know system May he stacked against. If innocent I hope he sues the hell out of them.

Mainly because most of them could care less about their rights or freedoms, or anything else for that matter. Many of them can't list their Senators or Representative, or even who the current President is. The rest are rabid obstructionists. This isn't just a CA problem either...

Believe me, the people of Calif do care about their rights. The problem is that the rich liberals that live along the coast put their ideas into everything and pay money to do it. These people are not affected by their stupid ideas because they live in gated communities in super rich areas. This leaves us with a state with over half the population paying no taxes at all. They pass between 800-900 new laws every year. Almost all are stupid feel good laws that do nothing. In the 70s, the liberals tried to take away handguns statewide. The measure was defeated 2-1.
My brother in law just sold his subdivision 3 bd 2 bath house in Mountain View for $2.4M.

Sadly, this state is suffering from the influx of people bailing out of those types of states. My Aunt sells investment multi-family stuff that is going to transplants. They come here and still try and bring some of their beliefs with them and are succeeding at changing our laws to benefit themselves at our expense. They come from North, South and West. They sell their inflated properties there and buy choice properties here living next to influential locals and immediately start their subversion.

People of the rest of the country, this is a terrible place to live. It's no place for retirees, especially. We are backwards, ignorant and will steal everything you bring so don't even consider moving to Tennessee. We're all hooked on opioids and love it. You've been warned.

I visited CA several times going back to the 1980s. In that time you'd pay $1000 rent for a slab rancher 3 bedroom on a postage stamp lot and meth heads would still be capable of living near you. That was a decent neighborhood.
