One of my favorite 1903 rifles came from the CMP icon

auction as a barreled action. The finish is the way I received it. The stock came from another collector. I had the correct straight bolt. Barrel is SA 2-18 exc bore. Stock has the Philippine Ordnance Depot stamp and came from a collector. Anything special about that 1907 sling ?Attachment 100482 Attachment 100481

Jim, I thought there was something different about the sling but I was wrong, just a regular 1907 sling. That PODD rebuild stamp lasted in Manila until the Japanese icon

arrived in 1942.
Not many stocks found with this stamp
