[QUOTE=Gil Boyd;453562]There is a lot of support for Trump here today, contrary to what the press spin has on it,

Inspite of the Press there is a lot of Support for Trump Here too. Don`t want to get too political but the outright lying and half truths of the media has got to come to an end.

    Roger that.
We'll see how popular he is in the States next time round, he could make another 4 years!!
I know a lot of my friends in the SF community at Mildenhall, are relieved they won't be going back early on the Obama base closure programme now Trump has reversed it.
Millions of people rely both ways on the base work in the UKicon and Europe remaining in the status quo.................and long may it continue!!

The fact is that also here up North most people would wholeheartedly disagree.
We’re three nations in one country...at best.
I often feel we should be a confederation of independent states.

Now back to business: I know you were talking about the two landings.
I just had to grin reading Sicily and Italyicon put that way.

Thanks from across the pond for doing a pretty fair job of keeping the fascists occupied until public will turned in favor of the US providing more than material support.
    Dark days to be sure.

Unfortunately, those that make the most noise tend to get the most publicity.

There are many of us Brits who welcome Mr President's visit and who get no publicity because we do not state our views publicly and vocally on the street.

Pleased to see that President Macron did infact make it to the D-Day celebrations in Normandy. It seems the radio report last weekend was wrong! or possibly he was advised to change his mind.

Hi. I've been wondering why they did the D-Day ceremony yesterday instead of today. Very much just decidedly curious.
Kinda wondering when Liz(or one of her family, like The Duke of Edinburgh.) is going to deck The Donald too. Just on principal. snicker.
