    Nice Krag Sporter

Doing a bit of searching on the ol' GunBroker and ran across this one.
No affiliation, just showing a nice Kragicon. It ain't cheap but I don't think you'd regret this one. Nice looking rifle!

I wouldn't normally post an auction (to avoid stepping on bidder's toes) but the opening bid is $599 and the BIN is $649. Not much of an auction, haha.

Kragicon, #272262, would have been manufactured as a rifle, around June to August, 1900.

It was made about a year after model 1899 carbines had come into production.

Model 1898 carbines are numbered approximately between #117536 and #140195.

If it was about $100 less I probably would have bought it already haha.
Quite nice, but yes, a bit high.
    Sure love that stock though.

Old Military Rifles... Its a really bad addiction, in the past month I bought another M48 Mauser, another Mosin Nagant (I'm now up to 6 or 7), and a bunch of non-military rifles. Now i'm thinking I want a Kragicon Carbine in the military configuration.

I was thinking about it. I think one nice spotter is sufficient though.
I need to focus on a nice trapdoor and 1903 spotter first.
