    Straight stock help

    Hi,

I would like to mount a stock type "S" on my 1903 of 1918. I bought it with an A3 scant stock.
(I do not find it very beautiful nor natural )

Can you help me identify this S stock that is proposed to me?

    Thanks

I'll take a wild guess that it's a Sedgley stock. More pictures would help. The handguard is an M'03-A3 handguard.

    Good Luck!

    Thanks for the answer.

After becoming more pics the on sale stock could be made by RA.
it seems in good shape, but I'm afraid it's an A3.
If so, I suppose that originally it was a 1903 transformed into A3?
Or did RA directly manufacture "straight" stocks for A3?
    Regards

The stock is a late Remington M'03-A3 stock. Remington manufactured their own stocks.

Thank you for this clarification. It is so difficult to find a decent stock here in Franceicon, in addition a beautiful for the model 1903.
I think trying to win the auction, it will be anything better than a scant stock on my 1903 of 1918.

Thank you Sir, but nothing on the horizon on french ebay yet.
By the way, forgive me for asking beginner questions about the 1903.
