    Mint RAF Contract Lee-Enfield Mk.2 303 British - Bolt Action Rifles at GunBroker.com : 822965168

A friend offered me one for a lot less than this auction, but I turned him down. They look great, but have no history and you can't shoot it without reducing it's value.
Good old Commonwealth Arsenal. One of the known humpers. Also has a lot of high sales that are relisted a month later.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Please elaborate. What's a humper?

They have a lot of very nice looking rifles for sale. Some are hard to find, hence the heafty price tags. I have never bought anything from them, but watch their listings in case I win the lottery.

In the UKicon, a 'humper' is, er......., how do I put this.......? Just think of your first really experienced girlfriend. Remember her.........? That's a 'humper'. And while she was a banger too, she wasn't into selling guns

Or - what your dog does to your mother-in-law's leg.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
